She rigorously challenges what constitutes an interior space, how that is formed, and what social constructs are latent within it.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eMacMahon’s installations, sculptures, and drawings embody universal themes of memory, repetition, and form. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree from California College of the Arts in San Francisco and was an All-College Honors Award recipient. She completed a Bachelor of Science from the UT-Austin’s School of Architecture where she received several endowed scholarships and awards. In 2006, she attended the Textile Society of America Study Tour “Fibers of Japan” with Yoshiko I. Wada.
